About the position

The position is responsible for managing and facilitating vendor management activities and contract lifecycles specifically for Technology Solutions related products and services. This includes initiating and managing Requests For Information (RFI) and Requests For Proposals (RFP), providing training on vendor management tools, and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. The role also involves strategic leadership in optimizing vendor relationships and performance, as well as managing documentation and processes related to vendor selection and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and facilitate vendor management activities and contract lifecycles for Technology Solutions products and services.
• Initiate, develop, and manage all work for RFI and RFP processes.
• Provide training on tools and workflows for vendor management and contract lifecycles.
• Establish and maintain internal policies, standards, processes, and templates for vendor management.
• Lead vendor governance, oversight, and performance strategy.
• Develop and maintain reporting requirements, vendor scorecards, and dashboards.
• Manage periodic business review meetings between vendors and product owners.
• Establish processes and controls for contract negotiations and ensure benefits are tracked.
• Review department purchase order requests for compliance with procedures and budget criteria.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years experience in contract and RFI/RFP administration desired.
