About the position

The Software Engineer (Java - Test Automation) role is part of the Global Supply Development team, which is responsible for building and supporting multiple advertising platforms for Oath. This position focuses on developing web-scale platforms that handle billions of requests daily across globally distributed data centers. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, be self-motivated, and have excellent communication abilities.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in software development, or relevant combination of education and experience
• Excellent coding, design, testing, and troubleshooting skills
• Programming experience in Java
• Experience with Spring (JDBC, Security, MVC) and Hibernate
• Strong knowledge of development tools and technologies (e.g. Git, Maven, JIRA, SQL, IDEs)
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently
• Excellent English language skills
• Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Cucumber and test automation
