About the position

The Senior Test Automation Engineer at Testing Mavens LLC is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and documenting software defects and issues. This role involves developing and executing testing programs, designing test plans, and ensuring compliance with standards. The engineer will also interact with clients and train end users, requiring travel to various locations in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
• Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers.
• Develop testing programs addressing database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
• Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
• Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
• Involve in functional test design and its execution.
• Install, maintain, or use software testing programs.
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
• Travel to various unanticipated locations in the United States to interact with clients and train end users.

Requirements

• MS or foreign equivalent in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related with at least 1 year of relevant IT experience in the job offered or related occupation using Java, JavaScript, HTML5, Css3, and SQL.
• Employer will accept BS or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related with 5 years of relevant IT experience in job offered or related occupation using Java, JavaScript, HTML5, Css3, and SQL.
