About the position

The Software Testing Engineer at Motorola Solutions is responsible for creating software testing requirements specifications and technical documentation. This role involves leading end-to-end test automation for public-facing websites, including marketing, eCommerce, and self-service platforms. The engineer will also contribute to AI/ML initiatives by evaluating and implementing AI-assisted development solutions, ensuring the technological experience for public safety customers is digitized and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Create software testing requirements specifications and other technical documentation.
• Lead end-to-end test automation for public-facing websites including marketing, eCommerce, and self-service.
• Automate testing by creating programs and scripts for projects.
• Contribute to AI/ML initiatives by evaluating and implementing AI-assisted development solutions.
• Develop computer programs and test plans for the main computer system linked to planning, quoting, reporting, and systems.
• Create configuration changes in testing computer software and test scripts.
• Modify existing testing programs and test scripts according to new software specifications.
• Perform unit testing and support customer acceptance test execution.
• Maintain historical records by documenting revisions to testing software programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience or Master's degree with 2 years of experience.
