About the position

The Senior Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing custom test scripts and solutions for 5G/4G 3GPP protocols, maintaining callbox systems, and executing validation and analysis on various devices. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate new test equipment and manage projects effectively, ensuring thorough documentation and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop test scripts and cases for 5G/4G 3GPP protocol using DISH-designated callbox systems (Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz).
• Maintain the operational efficiency of callbox systems and troubleshoot with Keysight and R&S for issue resolution.
• Execute validation on various devices, focusing on regression testing, script automation, and issue triaging using tools like QXDM, ELT, UXM, CMX-500, and Propsim.
• Integrate new test equipment and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chipset developers, device OEMs, and technical SMEs, to develop new 5G protocols and test cases.
• Lead and coordinate projects, manage lab test requests, maintain high system utilization, and ensure thorough documentation of lab configurations.

Requirements

• Experience in developing test scripts for 5G/4G 3GPP protocols.
• Proficiency in using callbox systems such as Keysight and Rohde & Schwarz.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for maintaining operational efficiency of test systems.
• Experience with validation and regression testing using tools like QXDM, ELT, UXM, CMX-500, and Propsim.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage projects effectively.
