About the position

The Senior Test Engineer at Amentum will lead all aspects of enterprise-level IT testing in support of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This hybrid remote role requires excellent communication and time management skills to oversee and manage other test engineers and the overall test environment. The engineer will execute all necessary testing activities, including coordination, execution, and reporting of IT testing, while providing exceptional customer service and communication to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT testing operations, including accessibility, functionality, usability, and Load/Stress testing.
• Manage all phases of the test plan, including analysis and design, planning and execution, identification and tracking of defects, and test automation.
• Provide Tier 4 support when required and requested.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of related experience leading and managing IT testing programs.
• Experience and knowledge of a broad range of IT technologies, such as operating systems, hardware, and applications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.

• Experience working in a high-paced, high-volume Government Client environment.
• U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) experience.
• Active Public Trust clearance.
