About the position

Sogeti USA is seeking a skilled QA Testing Lead with 6-8 years of experience in software testing, particularly in the retail domain. The role involves leading and mentoring an offshore team, managing test execution, and ensuring high-quality deliverables through effective testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile practices and experience with various testing tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Providing Thought leadership in the testing space
• Leading and mentoring offshore team
• Creating/ Reviewing Test scenarios and test cases
• Managing Test Execution, defects, and test reporting
• Maintaining test data and documentation
• Working closely with the onsite test lead, development, and support teams
• Participating in scrum meetings and ceremonies

Requirements

• 6-8 years of overall testing experience
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies
• Experience working with the offshore team and teams from different time zones
• Experience in the Retail domain, specifically supply chain, order management, and warehouse management
• Database and API testing
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Experience in JIRA/ Confluence and Test Management Tools
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field
