About the position

The Senior Test Planner at The Tatitlek Corporation is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring security measures for computer networks and information within the DoD operational testing and evaluation environment. This role involves assessing system vulnerabilities, developing test plans, and ensuring compliance with military doctrines and policies. The position requires a strong background in operations research, mathematics, and statistics, along with the ability to provide technical advice and develop risk mitigation strategies for joint tests and evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
  • Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct test planning in the DoD operational testing and evaluation environment.
  • Work with the joint exercises process, the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC), and joint tests and evaluations.
  • Observe and analyze test and evaluation operations to ensure conformity with military doctrines, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop test concepts, test scenarios, candidate test venues, test design, test products, and programming of resources for JT&E projects.
  • Conduct research and coordination, develop program test plans and detailed test plans.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain project schedules including allocation of resources and identification of project tasks and milestones.
  • Perform technical risk assessments, identify test limitations, and assist in developing risk mitigation strategies for JT&E project planning.
  • Provide consultation concerning C4ISR issues and techniques for inclusion in the design, development, and planning of joint tests and evaluations.

Requirements

  • Possess a TS/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) Security Clearance.
  • Ten years of experience in advanced operations research, mathematics, and statistics as applicable to DoD operational testing and evaluation.
  • Experience providing technical advice in support of developing problem statements, test issues, measures, and applying analytical methodologies.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the MS Office suite.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize business needs and issues.
  • Strong follow-up, follow-through, and project management skills required.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and state safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated strong time management, planning, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to interface with all levels within an organization.
  • Skilled in developing positive customer relations skills.
