About the position

The position is responsible for managing Core Treasury Management products, Merchant Services, and Procurement Card market needs, focusing on profitability, regulatory compliance, operational functions, and enhancing the client's user experience. The role involves advocating for product strategies, overseeing product lifecycles, and collaborating with various teams to deliver competitive and marketable products.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Treasury Management profitability and net revenue impacts through strategic analysis of product performance, sales productivity, and revenue contributions.
  • Collaborate with key lines of business such as IT, Operations, Risk Management, and Marketing to align Treasury Management strategies with organizational goals.
  • Advocate for new products, product enhancements, and retirement of products.
  • Oversee competitive analysis, pricing, and performance analytics to formulate plans and recommendations for product enhancements and pricing in key markets.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to Treasury Management and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
  • Present initiatives and policy changes to gain executive buy-in for future capital investments.
  • Work closely with TM Group Leader to prioritize new product initiatives based on market demand, client feedback, and regulatory changes.
  • Develop and maintain roadmap strategies and operating plans that align with Corporate Bank objectives.
  • Maintain budgets/financial plans for Treasury Management products, roadmap plans, and performance metrics to present to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Manage the go-to market process from ideation through launch, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met, including product positioning, pricing, and marketing collateral.
  • Manage data-driven decisions to optimize product performance post-launch, including adoption rates, usage metrics, and client satisfaction.
  • Assess the ability of products to meet market needs and clients' business objectives.
  • Serve as a product champion through a deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Maintain Policies and Procedures for Treasury Management to ensure alignment with the organization's overall risk appetite and compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure service quality, profitability, and strategic alignment with overall business strategies.
  • Stay abreast of regulations/regulatory changes and support the creation of and adherence to risk policies and procedures.
  • Provide assistance to Audit, Risk, and Compliance during regulatory exams.
  • Guide and lead mapping/integration efforts for bank conversions and system enhancements.
  • Mentor Product Managers and Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment while ensuring high-performance standards and professional development.
  • Evaluate department activities, recognize opportunities for improvement, and establish department goals that align with the organization's objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field of study, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in Treasury Management, Commercial Banking operations, budgeting/profitability, technology, marketing, and/or product development required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong database knowledge and experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or advanced certification(s) in a related field preferred.
  • Progressive product management experience preferred.
