About the position

Deloitte is seeking a passionate and strategic thinker to join our team of Strategic Risk professionals, focusing on Government and Public Services (GPS) organizations. In this role, you will serve as a lead instructor, delivering continuity training and technical assistance to various federal and state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) audiences. Your responsibilities will include the development and revision of training courses and associated materials, such as facilitator and student manuals. You will also engage in program management tasks to support the client's national training program, covering essential topics like Continuity Planning, Continuity Program Management, Devolution, and Continuity Planning for Tribal Governments, among others. As part of Deloitte's GPS practice, you will be joining a team of over 15,000 professionals dedicated to helping clients navigate complex challenges and drive performance through effective risk management. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a lead instructor for continuity training and technical assistance.
  • Develop and revise training courses and associated materials, including facilitator and student manuals.
  • Support program management tasks for the client's national training program.
  • Deliver training on topics related to continuity or emergency management, including Continuity Planning and Continuity Program Management.
  • Engage with federal and SLTT audiences to enhance their understanding of continuity planning concepts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.
  • 10+ years of experience with continuity of operations (COOP) and continuity of government (COG) planning and program concepts.
  • 10+ years of experience delivering training on topics related to continuity or emergency management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • FEMA Level I Professional Continuity Practitioner certification.
  • FEMA Level II Master Continuity Practitioner certification.
