About the position

The Senior Training Specialist/Instructor role at Deloitte involves leading the delivery of continuity training and technical assistance to federal and state/local audiences. This position is crucial for helping Government and Public Services organizations prepare for challenges and manage risks effectively. The role also includes developing and revising training materials and managing programs related to continuity planning and emergency management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead instructor delivering continuity training and technical assistance for federal and SLTT audiences.
• Support the development and revision of training courses and associated materials such as facilitator and student manuals.
• Perform program management tasks in support of the client's national training program.
• Cover topics including Continuity Planning, Continuity Program Management, Devolution, and Continuity Planning for Tribal Governments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.
• 10+ years of experience with continuity of operations (COOP) and continuity of government (COG) planning and program concepts.
• 10+ years of experience delivering training on topics related to continuity or emergency management.

Nice-to-haves

• Active Top Secret security clearance required with SCI eligibility.
• FEMA Level I Professional Continuity Practitioner certification.
• FEMA Level II Master Continuity Practitioner certification.
