About the position

The Senior Transportation Engineer will manage and develop transportation projects across Pennsylvania and Maryland, leveraging over 40 years of company experience. This role requires independent work and leadership in transportation design, with a focus on collaboration with state agencies such as PennDOT and the Turnpike.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop transportation projects throughout PA and MD.
• Design and develop plans, specifications, and estimates for transportation projects.
• Collaborate with PennDOT, Turnpike, and other related PA agencies.
• Lead a team and support the VP of the firm in project execution.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Civil3D, and MicroStation for project design.

Requirements

• Licensed PE in Pennsylvania or Maryland.
• 7-10+ years of progressive experience in transportation design.
• Leadership and supervisory experience in engineering projects.
• Experience with design and development of plans, specs, and estimates.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and MicroStation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
