About the position

The Senior Treasury Manager is responsible for being a leader in the treasury function within an organization, managing its financial assets, and ensuring that financial operations support the company's growth and financial stability.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management.
  • Develop financial strategies to optimize the company's capital structure, minimize financial costs, and support long-term plans.
  • Identify and manage financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and credit risks.
  • Manage the company's investments and funding activities, including financing arrangements, banking relationships, and investment portfolios.
  • Provide input on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital market transactions.
  • Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures to improve financial controls and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights into cash positions, forecasts, and financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate governance standards.
  • Strategize, identify, and implement technology to automate treasury processes.
  • Assist in leading and developing the treasury team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • CTP or CFA certifications preferred.
  • 7-15 years of experience in treasury management, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
  • Relevant experience in creating and establishing a treasury department with domestic and international operations.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, operational processes, and legal/regulatory landscapes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate future market and treasury scenarios.
