About the position

The Senior Trial Graphic Designer will play a pivotal role in enhancing the visual communication of legal cases through the development of high-quality graphics, illustrations, and animations. This position requires a creative individual who can work closely with trial teams to conceptualize and design graphics that effectively convey case themes. The designer will be responsible for overseeing the completion of these graphics, ensuring they meet the high standards expected in a legal environment. In addition to graphic creation, the Senior Trial Graphic Designer will provide support during pre-trial and at-trial functions, which includes on-site trial support. This role will require the designer to be the point of contact for trial teams, directing workflow and managing multiple designers when necessary. The designer will also assist in the marketing and promotion of the firm's internal trial resources, contributing to the overall success of the trial teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal technology, with at least five years of experience in the field. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite is essential, as is the ability to create and revise PowerPoint presentations with a focus on litigation-specific formatting and style. A portfolio showcasing previous work is required for consideration, and knowledge of 2D/3D animation and modeling software is preferred. Travel for this position is expected to be up to 40% of the time, reflecting the need for on-site support during trials.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with trial teams to develop graphic recommendations for effective visual communication of case themes.
• Conceptualize, design, revise, and oversee completion of high-level graphics, illustrations, and animations.
• Create, revise, and reformat PowerPoint presentations, developing and maintaining litigation-specific formatting, style, and consistency.
• Provide on-site trial support, serving as point of contact and directing workflow when multiple designers are present.
• Assist with marketing and promotion of the Firm's internal trial resources.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with attorneys, legal assistants, and colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of Legal Technology experience
• Experience providing a combination of graphics creation, support at pre-trial and at-trial functions.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Portfolio required for consideration.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of 2D/3D animation and modelling software.
