About the position

The Senior UI Developer for Capital Markets is responsible for enhancing and upgrading existing Angular applications to ensure compatibility with the latest versions. This role focuses on designing and integrating new features, performing code cleanup, and ensuring the quality and stability of front-end applications. The position requires collaboration with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of microservices and backend functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Refactor and upgrade existing Angular applications (Angular 8 & Angular 14) to ensure compatibility with the latest Angular versions.
• Design, develop, and integrate new features such as auto-populating drop-down options with filters, LDAP/RBAC controls, and enhanced UI components for in-house applications.
• Perform cleanup of outdated Angular libraries and dependencies, installing peer-compatible versions as per the current component classes.
• Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and ensure the stability and quality of the front-end applications.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate new microservices and backend functionalities into the UI, ensuring seamless data flow and user experience.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in front-end development, specifically with Angular (experience with both Angular 8 and Angular 14 is a strong plus).
• Strong proficiency in Angular, including component-based architecture and Angular CLI.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience in handling and upgrading Angular dependencies and libraries, managing NPM packages, and resolving compatibility issues.
• Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles, with experience in building user-friendly and responsive interfaces.
• Proficient in Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines for front-end deployments.
