About the position

The Velocify team within ICE Mortgage Technology is seeking a Senior UI Developer to enhance the automation of the home loan approval process. This role focuses on creating web-based software that assists loan officers in managing leads, enabling them to prioritize, distribute, and navigate leads through their organization's workflow. As a Senior UI Developer, you will be integral to the Prospect Engagement vertical, leveraging your design and development expertise to deliver features that meet customer needs while utilizing cutting-edge UI and UX technologies. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, efficient, and bug-free code, as well as supporting upcoming tech initiatives and addressing customer defects. In this position, you will work on Micro-Frontend based applications, focusing on improving application performance by implementing best practices. You will be tasked with writing code in AngularJS and ReactJS, utilizing both custom code and existing component libraries. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with your team to ensure quality code is produced and delivery targets are met. Your role will also involve a strong understanding of web programming, API calls, and performance improvements, ensuring that the applications you develop are both functional and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Working on Micro-Frontend based applications.
• Improving the application performance using best practices.
• Writing code in AngularJS/ReactJS with custom code/existing components library.
• Collaborating to write quality code and meet delivery targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• 4 - 6+ years of experience working on UI projects using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 2+ years of experience developing UI screens that consume Rest APIs.
• Demonstrated understanding of API calls and parsing results returned by APIs.
• 3+ years of experience working with ReactJS or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Coding expertise using core JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of Web Programming.
• Knowledge of Jira, Git, Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) leveraging Agile principles.
• Writing Unit and Integration test cases using frameworks like Jest.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with performance improvements when loading web pages and calling APIs.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of design framework.
• Understanding of how the JavaScript engine works.
• Working experience with Angular, Vue frameworks.
• Experience with AWS EC2, S3 buckets.
• Familiarity with Salesforce front end development.
