About the position

As a Senior UI Developer specializing in React.js, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing user interfaces that provide a seamless and high-quality user experience. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our users. Leveraging your extensive experience from Apple, you will bring best practices in UI/UX design and development to our projects, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards in our work. In this role, you will be tasked with optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability, troubleshooting and debugging existing codebases, and enhancing them to improve performance and user satisfaction. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior developers, contributing to their growth and the overall development of the team. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies will be essential, as you will continuously seek to improve our development practices and implement new techniques that enhance our product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop user interfaces using React.js, ensuring a seamless and high-quality user experience.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Leverage your experience from Apple to bring best practices in UI/UX design and development to our projects.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing codebases.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth of the team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our development practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10-12 years of professional experience in UI development with a strong emphasis on React.js.
• At least 2 years of experience working at Apple, with a deep understanding of the high standards and practices from there.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, high-quality UI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with additional JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
• Knowledge of server-side technologies and how they interact with front-end code.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
