About the position

The Senior UI Developer will be part of a team tasked with building a modern brokerage platform from scratch for a large financial institution. This role involves designing and developing web applications for Operations users and end customers, managing code reviews and deployments, and collaborating with various stakeholders. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced core-brokerage financial industry and to learn new functionalities and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features for web applications.
• Manage code reviews and deployments.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders for development.
• Develop user interfaces based on wireframes and visual designs.
• Ensure accessibility needs and cross-browser compatibility are met.

Requirements

• Experience developing and maintaining applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, React JS), with a preference for Angular.
• In-depth experience in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Strong design (UX) experience or strong technical aptitude.
• Experience with HTML and CSS, including accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience working with Git/Version control.
• Ability to collaborate constructively with various individuals and groups.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of basic investment terms and practices.
