About the position

The Senior UI Developer will be part of a team focused on building a modern brokerage platform from scratch for an industry-leading financial services client. This hybrid role requires working two weeks per month in specified locations and involves designing and developing web applications for Operations users and end customers, utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks and ensuring high-quality user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features for web applications.
• Manage code reviews and deployments.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders for development.
• Develop user interfaces based on wireframes, visual designs, and UX specifications.
• Work in a fast-paced core-brokerage financial industry domain.
• Collaborate closely with teams and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, React JS), with a preference for Angular.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS, including accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with Git/Version control.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals and groups.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and driving automation.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of complex global systems environments.
