About the position

The Senior UI Developer at Infosys will serve as a Technology Lead, contributing to various stages of the Software Development lifecycle. This role involves creating detailed design artifacts, developing and reviewing code, and collaborating with a talented team to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions that meet client needs. The position emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence within a diverse work culture.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed design artifacts such as program specifications and test plans.
  • Independently develop and review code.
  • Contribute to the go-live plan for projects.
  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes into responsive and interactive web and mobile interfaces.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance of applications.
  • Share best practices that emphasize accessibility, performance, and reusability in UI development.
  • Develop and maintain reusable and modular secured code components adhering to industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot front-end code and perform thorough code reviews, testing, and debugging.
  • Implement DevSecOps to support the Front-UI development lifecycle.
  • Work with RESTful APIs and integrate front-end interfaces with backend systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience with UI/UX Development.
  • Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and CSS extensions.
  • Advanced UI hands-on development experience with various design patterns for JavaScript application development.
  • Deep JavaScript development experience using Bootstrap and/or React/Angular frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting front-end code.
  • Hands-on implementation of DevSecOps for front-end applications.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Moderate knowledge of Sitecore 9.x/10.x CMS.
  • Ability to develop Sitecore back-end development in .Net/C# as a full-stack Sitecore UX developer.
  • Knowledge of collaborative interface design tools such as FIGMA.
  • Knowledge of interactive JavaScript libraries such as D3.js and HighCharts.
