About the position

The UI Engineer position within the Settings team at Apple focuses on enhancing the user experience for managing AppleCare+ coverage across iOS and macOS. This role involves collaboration with UI designers, server-side engineers, and QA partners to deliver high-quality features that empower customers to personalize their Apple devices effectively. The engineer will also contribute to broader Settings UI features, ensuring a consistent and intuitive user experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the experience for viewing and managing AppleCare+ coverage in Settings for iOS and macOS.
• Collaborate with UI designers to create optimal feature designs.
• Work with server-side engineering to establish robust client-server contracts.
• Ensure high-quality product delivery in collaboration with QA partners.
• Contribute to the development of other Settings UI features and building blocks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SwiftUI/Swift or UIKit/Objective-C software engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience in designing client-server APIs using REST, GraphQL, or RPC.
