Senior UI/UX Designer

Fresh Services stands as the backbone of operational support for Fresh Concepts, Produce Alliance, and Fresh Alliance, offering a comprehensive suite of services to ensure the seamless functioning of these entities. Fresh Services, an internal Buyers Edge Platform brand resource, is the operational arm of the Fresh Division as a whole. Our team provides food safety and quality assurance, cutting-edge technology solutions, central billing services, a produce support team, marketing innovation and a full implementation and pricing team. By providing full-service support in these essential areas, Fresh Services empowers our clients to navigate the complexities of the foodservice industry with confidence, efficiency, and a commitment to excellence. While we are accepting remote applications, preference will be given to applicants who can work a hybrid schedule in our Temecula, CA office. We are unable to provide sponsorship for work authorization for this role.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing BEP Fresh Division products, including Fresh Backoffice, Food Safety, Pricing, Restaurant, Distributor, Client Profiles, and Billing Modules
• Developing Distributor and Shipper Portals and Dashboards
• Work with BEP PMs, stakeholders, and developers to help define project requirements
• Provide UX/UI recommendations, apply a consistent design, and work to provide appropriate deliverables for each project
• Work and collaborate in Figma to provide workflows, wireframes, user personas, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes
• Communicate with customers and prospects as a part of fleshing out design concepts, validating UX patterns, and assessing usage behaviors
• Work closely with software developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure designs are implemented and functionally complete
• Help integrate UX into the company process
• Uphold standards by preparing and maintaining UI style guides, design system, visual strategies, page layouts, processes, icons, and color palettes in accordance with best practices and Fresh Division Standards
• Design and deliver high-quality user interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable UI components
• Ensure all designs are responsive and accessible
• Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing
• Analyze user feedback and data to improve product usability and engagement
• Stay informed about the latest design trends and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant certifications or completed coursework in UI/UX design tools and methodologies (e.g., UX bootcamps, Google UX Design Certificate, HCI courses) are a plus
• 5 years of proven and demonstrable experience as a creative visual designer working on user experience scenarios and UX design for enterprise software
• Strong portfolio demonstrating practical design skills and user-focused problem-solving
• Experience in deciphering and documenting user requirements
• Experience growing a Design Culture within a company
• Experience designing Mobile Apps
• Experience interpreting insights from industry trends, end-user feedback, and designing with the business in mind while still being innovative
• Experience in user testing, usability testing, and working with user acceptance criteria
