About the position

As a Senior UI/UX Designer at QuinStreet, you will play a pivotal role in crafting engaging and user-friendly digital experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to design interfaces for websites and marketing platforms, leveraging your expertise in user-centered and responsive design. You will collaborate closely with project managers, creative directors, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure that your designs not only meet business objectives but also enhance user engagement. Your proficiency in prototyping, wireframing, and final production, combined with your ability to utilize data to inform design decisions, will be essential in creating visually appealing and functional interfaces that drive conversion rates and support our marketing initiatives. In this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of digital marketing strategies and user behavior. You will work alongside the user testing team and merchandise project managers to gather feedback and implement design improvements. Maintaining brand consistency across all digital platforms and adapting to agile workflows will be crucial for delivering high-quality designs that resonate with our audience and reflect our brand identity. Your designs will be informed by user needs and preferences, utilizing tools such as empathy mapping and user research to create intuitive and accessible designs. You will also be responsible for ensuring that your designs are optimized for various devices and screen sizes, employing the appropriate tools to guarantee effectiveness across all platforms. By leveraging data and user feedback, you will refine your design choices, utilizing user testing results and A/B test performance to enhance the effectiveness of your designs. Your ability to build detailed prototypes and wireframes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD will allow you to translate complex ideas into clear and attractive designs, ready for development. Collaboration with marketing teams, developers, and other stakeholders will be key to ensuring that your designs align with business goals, and your strong communication skills will facilitate the incorporation of feedback from the team. Ultimately, your focus will be on creating visually appealing UI elements, ensuring that all designs align with the company's brand and messaging, and continuously improving design quality through agile methodologies.

• Design visually appealing UI elements, such as layouts, fonts, colors, and icons.
• Ensure all designs align with the company's brand and message.
• Use agile methods to adapt your designs based on feedback and changing needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Visual Communication, UI/UX, or a related field.
• Proficiency with web design tools such as Figma (required), Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong skills in building design systems and creating low-fidelity prototypes for quick client feedback.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and understanding how designs translate to code.
• Organized and self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently identify and resolve issues.
• Curious about new technology and experienced in user testing and research is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently as well as participating in whiteboard sessions and group brainstorming.
• Must have a positive attitude and be a great team player.
