About the position

The Senior UX/UI Designer at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is responsible for leading the human-centered design approach for digital products and services. This role involves collaborating with the Consumer Digital Design Team to create intuitive digital solutions that enhance patient experience. The designer will present concepts, stay updated with design trends, and produce a variety of UX/UI deliverables, including wireframes and prototypes, while contributing to the internal design system.

Responsibilities

• Champion the human-centered design approach within digital products and services.
• Lead UX/UI design efforts for various digital products and initiatives.
• Present design concepts and articulate ideas to leaders, developers, and stakeholders.
• Create a wide variety of UX/UI deliverables including whiteboard sketches, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Conduct independent research and competitive analysis on products and experiences.
• Design and build the UX/UI flow, including menus and interaction interfaces.
• Create high fidelity design assets for development and market delivery.
• Master planning and conducting ethnographic studies and primary interviews with users and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Five plus years of experience in UI/UX design and concept development.
• Experience in building and shipping web and mobile applications.
• Experience in building and maintaining design systems from an innovation agency, startup, tech company, or large organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, or a related field.
