About the position
The role focuses on driving UI engineering and design strategy across various sectors including Markets Post Trade, Lending, Sales, Banking, and Research. The objective is to align the front-to-back Markets UI/UX approach in partnership with Pre-Trade. The position involves producing wireframes, prototypes, and user-friendly designs while evaluating user profiles and journeys to create a coherent desktop strategy across Sales, Ops, and other key user groups. The role also emphasizes driving consistent UX through shared UI toolkits and ensuring a holistic technical implementation to achieve desired business outcomes. Proficiency in key UI platforms and technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, UI design tools, version control, and browser compatibility is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary to convey design decisions and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Drive UI engineering and design strategy across Markets Post Trade/Lending/Sales/Banking & Research.
- Produce wireframes, prototypes, and intuitive user-friendly designs.
- Evaluate user profiles and journeys to align with different front ends into a coherent desktop strategy.
- Drive consistent UX leveraging shared UI toolkits and support seamless user journeys.
- Ensure consistent technical implementation and strategy to produce desired business outcomes.
- Develop and evolve the bank's technology architecture through relevant solutions and strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide subject matter expertise and foster continuous improvement.
- Motivate and lead diverse technologists and business teams to align business and technology strategy.
- Assess new technologies to address current and future business needs.
- Monitor and analyze application performance, resiliency, and stability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and enhance the bank's application portfolio.
- Support engineering and architecture community initiatives to mentor team members.
