About the position

The Senior Unity Content Developer/Creator at RTX Corporation will join the Advanced Visualization and Proposal Services (AVPS) team, focusing on developing and maintaining interactive applications across various platforms. This role involves collaborating with product owners and customers, planning projects, and refining content presentation. The position requires a strong background in real-time game development using Unity, with responsibilities spanning the entire product lifecycle from capture to sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop immersive and interactive applications using the Unity gaming engine.
• Create polished content that aligns with customer vision.
• Collaborate with the development team to coordinate work activities and plan project backlogs.
• Work with the scrum master to define and estimate work.
• Support live events and demonstrations for internal and external customers.
• Translate customer requirements into task descriptions and visual presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience creating real-time applications with Unity.
• Experience with graphics composition, motion, and framing strategies.
• Experience with project planning and estimating.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts, Animation, or Game Development.
• Experience with Unity's suite of tools such as Unity Version Control and Unity Build Manager.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages like C++ or C#.
• Experience with Universal Scene Description (USD).
• Basic skills in hard-surface mesh modeling using tools like Maya and Substance Painter.
• Experience with Agile processes and Jira tools.
