About the position

Peloton is seeking a Senior User Researcher to enhance the innovation and optimization of its hardware products, including the Bike, Tread, and Row. This role involves collaborating with various teams to conduct user research and testing, focusing on both hardware and software interactions. The Senior User Researcher will be responsible for organizing research processes, executing studies, and presenting findings to inform product decisions and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Evolve the process for organizing user research and testing across multiple product teams.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Industrial Designers, and Engineers to identify user research goals and execute research to address those goals.
• Conduct user research for hardware and software, including design mockups and prototypes.
• Compile and present research findings to relevant partners for strategic product decisions.
• Enhance Peloton's user-experience research infrastructure for seamless testing and analysis.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research using various methodologies to produce insights.
• Document and track findings from testing and research for future reference.

Requirements

• 5+ years of User Research and Testing experience
• Experience planning, coordinating, and conducting hardware and software user research
• Experience writing and conducting user interviews
• Experience analyzing research findings and reporting insights and recommendations
• Experience developing processes to organize work across multiple teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
• Self-starter with the ability to act autonomously
• Attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

• Degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Anthropometry, or Human Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience
• Experience writing, fielding, and analyzing quantitative surveys
