About the position

The International Seller Growth organization at Amazon is dedicated to developing innovative solutions that empower sellers worldwide to effectively manage their businesses online. This includes a comprehensive software platform and applications that facilitate demand generation, customer acquisition, seller integration, customer relationship management, and order management functions. We are seeking a Senior User Experience Designer who will play a pivotal role in enhancing our AM Tools portfolio, particularly through the integration of Generative AI. This role is crucial as it will serve as a co-pilot for tens of thousands of sellers navigating their growth journey on Amazon. The ideal candidate for this position is not only a passionate designer but also a pragmatic visionary. You will be responsible for gathering and synthesizing customer data, understanding user behaviors, motivations, and preferences to propose innovative solutions. Your expertise in combining qualitative and quantitative data will be essential in crafting a cohesive narrative around your findings. You will thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with product management, engineering teams, and various business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable products that meet the diverse needs of our global seller community. In this role, you will be expected to identify user needs and design solutions that not only delight users but also have measurable impacts on their experience. You will collaborate with product teams to develop high-level requirements, create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups, and maintain detailed user-interface specifications. Presenting and defending your design recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will working with technical teams to ensure seamless implementation of your designs. Additionally, you will measure the success and effectiveness of your proposed designs and collaborate with Generative AI teams to enhance our existing tools with AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify user needs and design delightful solutions with measurable impact.
• Work with product team to develop high-level requirements.
• Create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors.
• Develop and maintain detailed user-interface and interaction specifications.
• Present and defend design recommendations to partners, stakeholders, and senior leadership for review, feedback, and approval.
• Work with Tech teams to ensure a seamless implementation of designs and make trade-offs when needed without compromising on core experience.
• Measure the success and effectiveness of your proposed designs.
• Collaborate with Gen AI teams to augment our existing tools with AI.

Requirements

• 7+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience.
• Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices.
• Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps.
• Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Sketch or similar.

• Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity.
• Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards.
