About the position

As a Senior UX Designer at TEKsystems, you will lead and execute user-centered design throughout the digital product journey. Your role involves advocating for user needs while ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand standards. You will utilize user research and usability testing to inform design decisions, creating information architecture, flows, prototypes, and UI specifications that enhance the user experience.

Responsibilities

• Be the design owner, collaborating closely with the product owner.
• Plan and perform evidence-based user experience design activities to align customer value with business outcomes.
• Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders and teams to co-create solutions with users globally.
• Develop a deep understanding of the product's business and user needs.
• Refine low-fidelity flows into high-fidelity prototypes and final specifications.
• Communicate design decisions effectively to stakeholders.
• Support Design Ops by standardizing best methods, practices, and assets.
• Coach and share knowledge on design methods, tools, and trends with colleagues, mentoring junior designers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in a UX product design role.
• Demonstrable experience leading high-quality UX products.
• Strong portfolio with case studies and relevant work samples.
• Ability to guide stakeholders through the UX process from user journey to release.
• Proficient in UX writing in US English.
• Ability to create and present case studies for projects.
• Open to feedback, iteration, and suggestions.
• Highly organized with a drive for order in files, processes, and artifacts.
• Persistent in design validation with users.
• Formal education or practical experience in design thinking or relevant fields.

Nice-to-haves

• Agency experience is a plus.
• Experience with UX writing and creating precise UX copy.
