About the position

The Senior UX Designer at Gitar will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of a cutting-edge developer platform. The designer will lead UX projects throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that the platform is both powerful and pleasurable to use.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches.
• Collaborate with engineers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to gather insights and enhance user satisfaction.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

Requirements

• 5+ years of UX design experience, ideally within early-stage startup environments.
• A strong portfolio showcasing UX design skills and understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Experience conducting user research and experimentation, and translating insights into design decisions.
• Exceptional visual design skills, attention to detail, and mastery of user interaction.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of influencing user experience decisions in a team setting.
