As a Senior UX Designer at OneTrust, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize customer-focused solutions, gathering user feedback to understand their perspectives, behaviors, and goals. This insight will be instrumental in building end-to-end experiences that resonate with our customers. Your mission will involve taking ownership of project goals, incorporating high-level design direction, and developing a product area vision in collaboration with leadership. You will be expected to move critical work through various stages while continually meeting with your design team to discuss, collaborate, and define patterns and research practices. You will demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability for your team's work and outcomes. Regular meetings with customers will be essential to ensure their needs are represented throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Your role will also involve crafting thoughtful UX writing to support your design solutions and partnering with cross-functional teams throughout the end-to-end process. You will inform your counterparts in the development team about the UX methods and activities that will best aid in customer understanding in different situations. Conducting independent research to understand customer needs and testing assumptions will be a key part of your responsibilities, along with creating design deliverables that are ready for implementation every three weeks. In addition to overseeing deliverables to protect the intended customer experience, you will mentor junior staff and advocate for UX processes across various stakeholder touchpoints. As the primary advocate for the user, you will help others understand the customer's voice and share findings and recommendations with your cross-functional and design teams. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design thinking, visual design, interaction design, and user research skills. You will be expected to have a learning mindset, be intellectually curious, and possess experience in building SaaS products, particularly in an agile software development environment.
