This position is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team based in Purchase, NY, Plano, TX, or Chicago, IL, where you will contribute to the development of digital solutions that enhance our operations in revenue management, supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics. As a member of a collaborative interdisciplinary team, you will leverage your expertise in Service Design and UX Design to transform complex inputs into actionable strategies and designs that drive business improvement and outcomes. In this role, you will be involved in the entire design process of our digital products and services, from initial research and ideation to conceptualization, design, testing, and validation. You will conduct both primary and secondary research, synthesizing findings to build insights that inform our design strategies. Your ability to apply Human-Centered Design and Service Design Thinking approaches will be essential in guiding the discovery and production of both low-fidelity and high-fidelity deliverables. You will also be responsible for planning and co-facilitating workshops, managing approaches that identify and solve complex problems, and creating project deliverables such as UI prototypes, project plans, and insights reports. As an internal ambassador for our team's culture around Product & Service Design, you will communicate effectively with business stakeholders throughout the Service Design process, ensuring knowledge transfer and training as needed. Your influence on product teams through data-based recommendations will be key to our success in delivering innovative digital solutions that meet the needs of our users and drive PepsiCo's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the entire design process of digital products and services from research to validation.
  • Plan and conduct primary and secondary research to synthesize insights and provide recommendations.
  • Apply Human-Centered Design and Service Design Thinking approaches to create deliverables.
  • Plan and co-facilitate workshops to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Create project deliverables such as UI prototypes, project plans, and insights reports.
  • Coordinate work activities with digital teams, business teams, and IT services.
  • Communicate with business stakeholders during the Service Design process.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience designing digital products and services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Deep understanding of Service Design and UX Design disciplines.
  • Proven experience in implementing and facilitating the overall design process using methodologies like Process Mapping, User Journey Mapping, and Wireframing.
  • Experience with design and research tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, Sketch, and InVision.
  • Experience in designing, building, and managing a Design System across products and services.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Agile and SAFe methodologies for teamwork and product creation.
  • Fluent in Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience in planning and conducting user research and testing sessions.
  • Advocacy for a User-Centric Design approach to understand user needs and pain points.
  • Experience in designing responsive digital products with a focus on mobile, both native and hybrid.
  • Experience in workshop planning and facilitation.
