As a Senior UX Designer at Marriott International, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital experiences of one of the most recognized hospitality brands in the world. This position is designed for a creative and strategic thinker who is passionate about user experience and has a strong background in designing commerce-focused web products. You will be responsible for creating best-in-class digital experiences that not only drive revenue conversion but also foster emotional engagement with our customers. Your work will directly impact our business outcomes by enhancing the user journey for both leisure and business travelers, as well as our loyal Marriott Bonvoy members. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Director of User Experience, product management, and technology teams to ensure that our digital products meet the diverse needs of our customers. You will be expected to produce high-quality design work as an individual contributor while also providing guidance and direction to both internal and external design teams. A strong portfolio showcasing your experience in UX and interaction design, particularly in commerce solutions, is essential. Your portfolio should highlight your efforts in conversion optimization, simplicity, and ease-of-use, demonstrating your ability to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in digital product design, with a solid educational background in a related field. You should be well-versed in various user experience disciplines, including interaction design and visual design, and possess a strong understanding of usability and transactional design best practices. Your experience should include working on large-scale global digital applications and commerce platforms, from homepage design through to checkout processes. You will also need to demonstrate your ability to deliver user journeys, prototypes, and other design artifacts across multiple platforms, including desktop, mobile web, and apps.
