Senior UX / UI Designer

About the position

With a passion for UX and a keen eye for detail, the Senior UX/UI Designer will work closely with Engineering, and Managers to ensure that the platform's members are learning and growing. Families are broken. Our culture is falling apart. The church is unprepared for the onslaught of broken people who are flooding its pews. Soul Refiner is the first platform that's providing churches and individuals with proven, Bible-based tools and strategies that bring healing and restoration to their lives. The Senior UX/UI Designer will play a critical role in the success of our platform, SoulRefiner.com, impacting millions of people around the world in the process. They are responsible for the designing and implementing of the UX & UI across our entire platform.

Responsibilities

• Designing solutions for member problems that are usable, valuable, viable and feasible
• Striking the right balance of advocating for an excellent member experience and understanding business strategy
• Commitment to a design process because repeating successful actions enables scaling
• Collaborating across all product teams to connect on problems, come up with new ideas, and share solutions with others
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Staying up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques and technologies
• Setting an optimistic tone and promotes communication and teamwork

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI creation
• Demonstrable UX and UI design skills, with a strong portfolio
• Success building websites and apps
• Strong background in graphic and visual art
• Knowledge and experience in working to scope, schedule and deliver UX & UI across multiple projects in a timely manner
• Ability to manage time and work effectively and efficiently to produce deliverables in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with Figma
• Technical experience in working with Software Engineers to optimize UI for maximum performance
