About the position

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a UX/UI designer to define and enhance digital products and experiences that shape the future of the Keurig brand. This role involves collaborating with a team of skilled designers to create comprehensive designs across various user touchpoints, including brewer interfaces, mobile applications, and e-commerce platforms. The designer will leverage empathy, creativity, and strategic thinking to address complex business challenges and user needs, ensuring outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Handle the UX/interaction design needs of assigned projects, from low fidelity wireframes to high fidelity product designs.
  • Create project deliverables such as storyboards, flowcharts, wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect designs with relevant specifications.
  • Develop compelling presentations and utilize visual storytelling to share design work.
  • Contribute to and leverage a design system.
  • Support user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design researchers, industrial designers, product managers, and software developers to create exceptional product experiences.
  • Provide implementation support to technical teams.
  • Deliver work on-time and on-budget.
  • Foster a culture of trust and wellbeing that prioritizes team contributions and values employee input.
  • Drive a shared vision with clear goals and accountability, supported by regular conversations to maximize talent.
  • Embrace diverse perspectives to foster innovation and learn from both successes and failures.

Requirements

  • Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills demonstrated in portfolio case studies.
  • Attention to detail and passion for designing within complex systems.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with the ability to defend design choices with clear rationale.
  • Focus on collaboration and achieving team and business goals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A strong sense of empathy to understand and design for multiple user personas.
  • 4+ years of experience as a UX or digital product designer working on consumer-facing software applications across multiple platforms (e.g., Web, IoT, iOS, Android).
  • Proven ability to partner with UX designers, UX researchers, software developers, and QA to ensure user needs are met and designs are implemented correctly.
  • Exceptional portfolio demonstrating design executed with a high level of refinement.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using software management tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira, etc.).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with user interface design patterns and standard User Centered Design methods.
  • Mastery of standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite, with a willingness to learn new tools.
  • Excellent visual design skills, including a strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and creating branded experiences.
  • Ability to contribute to projects at multiple stages of development.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, HCI/D, or related fields.
