About the position

The Program Manager for Vendor Strategy and Operations will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and managing vendor relationships within a highly regulated environment. This position requires strategic thinking and excellent relationship-building skills to lead programs that expand operational capabilities and improve member experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex mission critical programs for the Vendor Operations team and overall Operations organization.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance deep strategic relationships with key vendors to ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure core Vendor Strategy and Operations programs are aligned with requirements and timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Vendor Operations team to lead the development and implementation of core vendor operations tools ensuring operational excellence.
  • Build and implement vendor health metrics, collaborating with internal business partners to manage those metrics and overall vendor performance.
  • Identify, build, and implement strategy programs that evolve operational capabilities and drive operational excellence across vendor operations.
  • Build and implement a continuous improvement framework to enhance Vendor Operations processes.

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in management consulting, strategy, or operations, preferably in the Fintech or financial services industry.
  • Strong program management and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience using complex data to identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions that translate to business requirements.
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and effectively communicate it to key stakeholders, explaining complex concepts and influencing buy-in.
  • Capacity to think critically, identify solutions, and address challenges in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing regulations and industry trends.
