About the position

The Senior Venture Client Manager at Siemens Energy plays a crucial role in driving the company's strategy for energy transition by building relationships with global startups and leading the Venture Associate Program. This position focuses on mentoring participants, aligning strategic directions with Siemens Energy's goals, and integrating venturing into the business and regions. The role requires a deep understanding of growth fields and the ability to leverage networks to support central initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage network and business knowledge to define focus areas and stakeholder engagement strategies for startup piloting opportunities.
  • Collaborate with various functions such as Business Areas, R&D, Strategy, HR, Procurement, and Legal to identify and prioritize startup needs.
  • Execute and manage startup pilots and adoptions, including opportunity generation, business case alignment, and project management.
  • Manage the company-wide Venture Associate Program, focusing on marketing, event management, and participant engagement.
  • Onboard and train participants in the Venture Client model through digital bootcamps and mentorship.
  • Maintain a strong network in the region/business and engage with decision-makers through campaigns and workshops.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners relevant to focus fields.
  • Support strategic projects, reporting, portfolio reviews, and contribute to the Venture Clienting strategy.

Requirements

  • Several years of proven track record in piloting startup solutions on a global scale in a large energy corporate.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing innovation and program management initiatives successfully.
  • Excellent skills in coaching team members and building relationships with key partners, including startups and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong enthusiasm for new technologies and change management, focusing on solving knowledge gaps through external partners.
  • Well-informed about the Venture Client Process and its value proposition, with a deep understanding of internal processes and technology adoption.
  • Full written and spoken proficiency in English.
