About The Position
The Senior VFX Artist for World of Warcraft will be responsible for creating visually compelling effects such as explosions, spells, and ambient world effects. This role serves as a crucial link between art and design, ensuring that gameplay ideas are effectively communicated through visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will possess strong hand-painted texturing skills and a solid understanding of timing, motion, shape language, and 3D composition, contributing to the high-quality handcrafted art that the WoW Art team is known for. This position is hybrid, allowing for both on-site and remote work options.
