About the position

The Senior Vice President & Chief Financial/Administrative Officer (CFAO) at Oklahoma State University (OSU) is a key executive role responsible for the overall financial strategy of the OSU System. The CFAO will lead financial operations, budgeting, human resources, facilities management, and information technology across the university's five campuses. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance financial processes and ensure the university's financial well-being, aligning with OSU's strategic goals to become a leading land-grant institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic executive leadership across finance, facilities, safety/transportation, human resources, and information technology.
• Oversee budgeting, university accounting, financial information systems, and compliance.
• Manage human resources functions including talent development and recruitment.
• Ensure operational efficiency and risk management in facilities and safety services.
• Report to the OSU A&M Board of Regents and provide operational expertise.

Requirements

• Master's degree or other advanced degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial and administrative roles.
• Proven understanding of business strategy and operational impact.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, research, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional capability in leading a matrixed team.
