About the position

The Senior Vice President, Commerce Media at Digitas is a pivotal role focused on leading the agency's eCommerce media practice. This position is responsible for developing innovative strategies and best practices to enhance client campaigns across various retail platforms. The SVP will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure successful execution of commerce media strategies, driving outcomes for some of the largest brands globally.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the Commerce Media team through thought leadership and best practices.
  • Plan and activate campaigns across retail commerce platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, and Target.
  • Interpret client needs and develop strategic solutions to meet their business goals.
  • Lead 1-2 client businesses, ensuring all activities align with client objectives.
  • Act as a key liaison between media and shopper teams to streamline omni-channel strategies.
  • Oversee performance forecasts and budget allocations, providing data-based recommendations.
  • Identify client issues and opportunities to develop new business within existing accounts.
  • Support annual JBP negotiations and new business pitches as required.
  • Collaborate with agency leads across Creative, Technology, and Strategy to deliver connected commerce plans.
  • Monitor marketplace changes and adjust marketing plans accordingly.

Requirements

  • A four-year degree and 15+ years of digital media experience.
  • 8+ years of Retail Media experience.
  • 10+ years of experience managing a team of 8+ FTEs.
  • Strong familiarity with the digital environment and media planning/buying processes.
  • Experience with platforms like Criteo, Target, Amazon, Walmart, and Kroger.
  • Keen attention to detail and analytical approach to objectives.
  • Strong understanding of media research tools and campaign automation tools.
  • Solid quantitative and research skills with proven data interpretation capability.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
