About the position

The Senior Vice President, Corporate Solutions, US B2B Financial Institutions Sales at Mastercard is responsible for driving growth in commercial payments by expanding relationships with new and existing financial institutions. This role focuses on enhancing Mastercard's presence in the B2B payments sector, particularly with corporate and institutional banking clients, and involves developing new product offerings and go-to-market strategies to meet the evolving needs of these clients. The position requires strong leadership to manage a team dedicated to business development and to ensure alignment with Mastercard's overall commercial payments strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales to financial institutions offering corporate payment solutions and working capital solutions.
  • Scale a national team of financial institution sales resources to expand the customer base.
  • Develop value propositions, pitches, and RFP packages to engage issuers.
  • Oversee client migration and onboarding of new issuer clients with a white-glove approach.
  • Ensure 100% coverage of all US Commercial accounts and monitor cross-sell/up-sell strategies with account managers.
  • Manage commercial updates in key client forums in partnership with account management teams.
  • Develop regional bank strategy to attract, onboard, and retain regional banks in the US.
  • Partner with product, engineering, finance, and legal teams to define and execute business growth strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B financial services sales, particularly with financial institutions.
  • Strong ties to transaction banking and corporate banking organizations.
  • Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience in fintech and understanding of regulatory environments.
  • Knowledge of commercial payment solutions and market trends.
