The Fin Solutions Sr. Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who closely follows the latest trends in the finance field and adapts them for application within their job and the business. This role is typically held by a small number of individuals within the organization who provide a similar level of expertise. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the position requires negotiation internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are necessary to guide, influence, and convince others, particularly colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. The role is accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business, necessitating a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. The position primarily affects a sub-function and involves handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team or project. The responsibilities include contributing to the design, roll-out, and governance of financial solutions. This involves participating in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization, and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions, and locations. The analyst assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance and plays a part in establishing and operating necessary forums and frameworks to govern policies and standards for global Finance processes. They also participate in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory, and market information needs into finance processes and applications. The role requires managing complex, critical, and large professional disciplinary areas and applying in-depth knowledge of the business impact of process design and technical contributions. The analyst is accountable for delivering a full range of services to one or more businesses or geographic regions, regularly interacting with peers within the firm and externally, including regulators and professional organizations. Additionally, they provide advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes, and firm or business unit strategy. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. The position requires appropriately assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
