About the position

The Senior Vice President of Global Geospatial Content Operations at Nearmap is responsible for defining the strategic direction and overseeing the production and delivery of the company's geospatial content portfolio. This role involves strategic planning, optimizing operations, managing budgets, and ensuring alignment with go-to-market (GTM) requirements, all while fostering a high-performance culture within the team.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategic direction for geospatial content operations.
• Oversee the production and delivery of geospatial content to meet schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Lead the global Geospatial Content division to support GTM functions.
• Optimize content production to maximize annual contract value (ACV) and minimize costs and risks.
• Develop efficiency and automation opportunities across Geospatial Content Operations.
• Collaborate with Technology to ensure operational readiness for future technology.
• Manage relationships and performance strategies with content provider partners.
• Develop and communicate the Growth Operations roadmap to support Nearmap's vision.
• Ensure robust operation of the global Geospatial Content production pipeline.
• Manage global geospatial content operations budgets and ensure alignment with GTM plans.
• Lead regional operations directors in decision-making frameworks to support GTM functions.
• Ensure effective reporting and communication mechanisms for stakeholders.
• Drive initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Maintain operational risk management and mitigation plans.
• Create an organizational roadmap for Geospatial Content operations.
• Design a resilient and scalable organization.
• Foster a culture of high engagement and performance within the operations team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior leader in complex technical operations.
• Approximately 10 years of senior leadership experience across strategy, technology, operations, and delivery functions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams through complex challenges and growth.
• Strong strategic thinking and communication skills.
• Excellent relationship management and contract negotiation skills.
• Superb analytical skills and technical operations management skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
• Strong emotional intelligence and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Relevant educational background at Bachelor's or Master's degree level in fields such as Engineering or Logistics.
