About the position

The Senior Vice President of Human Resources & Deputy to the Chief People Officer at TRC is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing HR operations for 8,000 global employees. This executive will lead a team of HR professionals, ensuring the implementation of HR policies and procedures while consulting and coaching leadership at all levels. The position involves strategic oversight of HR Business Partners, Payroll, and HR Technology & Systems, and requires collaboration with various departments to support organizational goals and enhance employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight and leadership for the HR Business Partner and Operational teams supporting TRC's 8,000 employees.
  • Deliver efficient and proactive HR operational services in partnership with Business, Finance, IT, and Legal leadership teams.
  • Build HR Business Partner capacity to provide guidance and advice to all levels of management on HR policy and procedures.
  • Collaborate with HR Leadership team to implement initiatives that attract, retain, and develop talent.
  • Evolve and maintain the HR operational roadmap to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with HR vendors and service providers, including contract negotiations and service level agreements.
  • Develop and align HR analytics to translate organizational objectives into actionable initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR operational processes through evidence-based insights.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws and pay transparency.
  • Oversee the collection, maintenance, and storage of all employee records and data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 20+ years of HR Business Partner and HR Operational experience.
  • Experience in Business Process Improvement, Change Management, Strategic Planning, Vendor Management, People Leadership, Talent, and Budget Management.
  • Evidence of exceptional ability within HR transformation, efficiency, automation/technology, and offshoring.
  • Prior working experience for a Private Equity backed business.
  • Multi-National experience and expertise within the UK and European Union.
  • HR offshoring experience and managing offshore teams.
  • Excellent team building skills and ability to develop positive relationships across functions.
