About the position

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Product Management for Global Credit Data Products at TransUnion is responsible for driving the growth of the Credit Risk Solutions (CRS) business through product innovation and the execution of a global Alternative Data strategy. This role involves overseeing the global strategy and implementation of core credit products, managing existing alternative data solutions, and collaborating with various teams to enhance TransUnion's product offerings. The SVP will also evaluate partnership and M&A opportunities to support the growth of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product innovation for TransUnion's Credit Risk Solutions business.
  • Own the global strategy and implementation for core credit products.
  • Manage existing alternative data solutions, including Income and Affordability Solutions.
  • Collaborate with Data Asset Management and Global Technology leadership to define and execute overarching strategies.
  • Evaluate and execute partnership and M&A opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to drive business growth.
  • Define and prioritize requirements for global data, attributes, and scores strategy.
  • Track product lifecycle and manage retirement and migration with regions.
  • Drive innovation in scores and attributes based on research.
  • Support regions with product design for traditional core credit products.
  • Develop and deploy standard solutions for international market expansion.
  • Gather voice of the customer and lead the overall CRS Alternative Data product management function globally.
  • Monitor product financials, KPIs, and customer feedback to identify opportunities.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of experience in product innovation and senior product leadership in credit risk and alternative credit data solutions.
  • Proven ability to build a world-class product organization.
  • Strong strategic thinker with a track record of success in whitespace opportunities.
  • Experience with alternative data in lending, including income and affordability data.
  • Experience in assessing the marketplace for partnership and M&A opportunities.
  • Experience developing product roadmaps for data and technical solutions in a B2B environment.
  • Compelling communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and decision-making skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in credit risk assessment or related roles in non-U.S. markets.
  • Significant experience leveraging different types of data to assess credit risk.
  • Experience driving product innovation in Financial Services, Lending, or Fintech.
  • Strong background in risk management.
