About the position
The Senior Vice President of Product Management at BNY will lead the Accounting Product team, focusing on identifying market opportunities, developing new products and services, and managing relationships across various departments to ensure successful product development and delivery. This hybrid role emphasizes collaboration and strategic oversight in a dynamic financial services environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to fill market or internal gaps and oversee work in progress to ensure it meets current and foreseeable demand.
- Develop ideas for new products, services, and technology to support specific Accounting needs of an ETF.
- Provide support and oversight for technical builds and manage execution.
- Manage relationships with Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, etc., to ensure different requirements are met during the new product development, enhancement, delivery, strategy, and planning processes.
- Manage internal process for product approvals, including PARC submissions, risk reviews, and internal compliance requests.
- Engage with Sales & Relationship Management in supporting business sales, including client demonstrations.
- Stay abreast of competitor offerings by periodically refreshing competitive analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required; advanced/graduate degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of ETF experience required.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of total work experience required.
- Experience in product management, operations, and client management strongly preferred.
