The Senior Vice President, Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer (Dev Infrastructure Platform) at BNY is a pivotal role within the Developer Infrastructure / Tooling team, part of the Engineering Enablement organization. This position is designed for a senior professional who will be responsible for creating solutions and platforms that enhance developer relations and tools, as well as their interactions within the BNY application development ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in Source Code Management (SCM), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), REST APIs, programming languages, Terraform, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. This role not only requires the ability to design and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure but also involves leading and mentoring junior DevOps engineers, collaborating with development teams, monitoring and optimizing system performance, and ensuring security best practices are followed. The position is based in either Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania or Lake Mary, Florida, and offers an onsite/hybrid work arrangement. In this role, the Senior Vice President will be expected to design and maintain a scalable and reliable infrastructure to support the DevOps CI/CD Platform. They will lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring the implementation of best practices and automation of processes. Collaboration with development teams to integrate DevOps methodologies into their workflows is crucial, as is the monitoring and optimization of system performance to ensure high availability and minimize downtime. Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends will be essential to drive innovation within the team.
