About the position

The Senior Vice President Technical Product Manager will play a crucial role in the Technology group, focusing on delivering tools and applications that support the Government Guaranteed Loan (GGL) Business and Services. This position requires a combination of strategic business analysis and hands-on application development, particularly utilizing Microsoft technologies. The individual will gain a deep understanding of the current technology stack and business processes while overseeing and guiding team members.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with SMEs, vendors, financial institutions, and end-users to gather, define, and document business requirements and user needs.
  • Serve as a functional subject matter expert (SME) and provide internal consulting services to assigned functional areas.
  • Analyze existing workflows to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within government guaranteed loan services.
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform product strategy and development.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases to support product development and strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the end-to-end development process of software applications, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for development and engineering teams.
  • Define and execute testing strategies to ensure applications meet quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain release schedules, prioritizing features in collaboration with technology teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and UX/UI designers, to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications.

Requirements

  • Experience in business analysis and application development, particularly with Microsoft technologies (e.g., .NET, Azure, SQL Server).
  • Strong understanding of bond mathematics and mortgage prepayment analysis.
  • Proven ability to gather and document business requirements and user needs.
  • Experience in process improvement and workflow optimization.
  • Ability to conduct market research and analyze industry trends.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to manage expectations.
