About the position

The Senior Virtual Merchant role is a full-time, contract position focused on utilizing PLM, Product Creation, and Virtual Merchandising to sell 3D versions of digital products within video games. This position is responsible for creating visually appealing virtual products that resonate with consumers, leveraging historical data and market feedback to inform product assortments and merchandising strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support the process of curating and translating how physical products should visually be represented in-game.
• Inform the segmentation strategy across the digital gaming retail ecosystem to drive a dynamic product portfolio.
• Participate in key product and merchandising seasonal gates to align on what products should be adopted for virtual assortments.
• Coordinate between genders, product types (Footwear, Apparel & Accessories), and brands.
• Manage multiple internal and external projects, ensuring consistent communication and timely approvals.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of Footwear, Apparel, Equipment or relevant consumer product buying and/or merchandising experience.
• Gaming and technical knowledge of digital purchasing and virtual consumer behavior.
• Merchandising and marketplace experience in the virtual space.
• Strong affinity and/or interest for gaming market trends.
• Digital mindset with a full understanding of how to connect digitally with consumers.
