About the position

As a Senior Visual Designer/Art Director at Ping Identity, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our brand and creative initiatives. This position is part of our In-House Brand and Creative team, where you will have the opportunity to inspire and lead other marketers in their creative endeavors. Your work will span a wide range of global touchpoints, including brand development, product marketing, demand generation campaigns, and events. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing innovative design solutions that resonate with our audience and elevate our brand presence in the market. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and sales, to ensure that our visual communications align with our strategic goals. You will be expected to bring a strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout to create compelling visual narratives that engage and inform our customers. Your ability to think critically and creatively will be essential as you navigate the complexities of our brand's visual language and adapt it to various mediums and formats. The ideal candidate will have a robust portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating proficiency from ideation through to production. You will be expected to stay current with design trends and technologies, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve our creative processes. Your leadership skills will be crucial in mentoring junior designers and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity and experimentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of visual assets for various marketing initiatives, including brand campaigns, product launches, and events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering their professional growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure our designs are innovative and competitive.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design work.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Visual Designer or Art Director, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work.
  • Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
  • Strong understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and layout principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience in leading design projects from concept to completion.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing software.
  • Experience in digital marketing and understanding of user experience (UX) principles.
